What we measure

Map your brain.
Master your mind

The Atlas 1.0 maps your brain activity into three live metrics:
Presence, Stress and Energy Burn. Together, they reveal the
changing internal states behind how you think, feel and perform;
from focus and flow, to overload, recovery, and calm.

  • Presence

    Where is my mind?
Inward with my thoughts or outward toward the people and world around me? Steady or fragmented?

Atlas reveals what draws your attention inward or outward, what fragments or sustains it, so you can learn how to direct it more deliberately.

  • Stress

How much psychological pressure am I under? Is it helping me perform, or beginning to work against me? Can I sustain it, or do I need to recover?

Atlas reveals what raises your stress and what helps you recover; so you can respond before pressure becomes overwhelming.

  • Energy Burn

How hard is my brain working?
Am I conserving mental energy or burning through it? Is this effort sustainable, or is the current state costing me more than I realize?

Atlas reveals where your mental resources are being spent, so you can recognize when to push and when to recover.

The Bigger Picture

Discover your
patterns

The Atlas 1.0 reveals how Presence, Stress, and Energy Burn change throughout your day and alerts you to meaningful shifts as they happen. With your permission, it connects those changes to the context of your life; such as sleep, exercise, calendar events, travel, people, places and activities or inputs you choose to tag.

Over time, Atlas learns what reliably changes your state and what helps you change course; building you a personalized map of the habits and conditions that help you think, feel and perform at your best.

Under the Surface

Multimodal
brain sensing, built
for real life

EEG is the gold standard for brain activity measurement in research settings. Traditional EEG, however, is extraordinarily sensitive to movement. Even small motions can distort the signal, which is why conventional systems are designed to be used while sitting very still. But life does not sit still. So we built something different.

Atlas creates a longitudinal record of how your brain responds to real life, which is much more meaningful than a single test or isolated brain scan. Every day adds more context, more history and a more personalized understanding of you.

Built on Science

Research-grade neural data for everyone in real life

In a controlled study, The Atlas 1.0 was benchmarked against a $30,000 research-grade EEG system used by the top neuroscience labs in the world. In real-world motion conditions such as walking and running, Atlas' data showed 20X higher signal quality than the research-grade system.

This has allowed ATLAS to collect the world's largest real-life brain activity dataset. While other brain devices are restricted to stationary situations like sleeping, meditating or coding, Atlas collects brain activity continuously while people walk, socialize, drive, speak, exercise, eat, use their phone, and do all the other things we do in the course of living our lives.

For Atlas, real-life doesn't just mean outside the lab: it means under totally unrestricted conditions, because that's when life actually happens, it doesn't wait for you to be sitting still. As such, we built our metrics not just from more than 2,500 hours of controlled studies, but also from more than 15,000 hours of real-world brain data and user outcomes.
